Welcome to Camp Liberty, Inc! We assist military veterans and first responders with their personal journey towards healing by providing Therapeutic Horseback Riding and other Equine Assisted Activities free of charge.
Our EAA programs cultivate emotional awareness, empathy and trust by fostering relationships between participants and horses. Veterans learn to rebuild connections with communities, peers and loved ones.

We are committed to helping improve the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our veterans and first responders with the care, respect and dignity that they have earned.
Our Story
Not all Wounds are Visible
Camp Liberty, Inc. pays tribute to SPC Kyle Thomas Yerian, U.S. Army, who tragically lost his battle with combat-related PTSD in March 2018. By April 2018, efforts were underway to establish a charitable veterans organization utilizing equine-assisted activities to address the national crisis of veteran suicide.
Equine-Assisted Activities harness the power of horses to facilitate self-discovery and growth, promoting emotional, cognitive, social, and physical benefits that enhance self-esteem, trust, and significantly reduce depression, anxiety, and thoughts of self-harm.
Camp Liberty, Inc. is not a crisis organization. If you or someone you care about needs to speak with someone immediately please call or text the 988 Lifeline, dial 911 or proceed to the nearest ER for help.
